St Vincent’s Care Services Toowoomba (historically known as Lourdes Home for the Aged) features peaceful landscaped gardens and is close to many of Toowoomba’s famed parks and bushland. Continuing a long and rich history of serving the Darling Downs, our focus is on providing the best balance of independence and support.
Our holistic care services are delivered by friendly and committed staff and volunteers, and are complemented by well-appointed community facilities, an extensive activities program, and beautifully landscaped courtyards and gardens. Local parklands, shopping, entertainment, and medical and transport services are also just a few minutes away.
Your spacious private will include an ensuite bathroom, air-conditioning, and garden or courtyard views. Our larger rooms provide the perfect solution for couples wishing to stay together.
With registered nurses and carers on duty 24-hours-a-day, we offer diverse care options, catering for low care, high care, dementia care, palliative care and respite care needs. Our residents enjoy professional hotel services, including full catering, laundry and cleaning, extensive leisure and lifestyle programs delivered by qualified practitioners, and well-appointed, comfortable and welcoming common areas.

Please note that some of our rooms at St Vincent’s Care Services Toowoomba are offered on an extra service basis in addition to the accommodation payment.
The extra services at our Toowoomba facility include the daily delivery of a newspaper of your choice, provision of a colour TV in each resident's room with pay TV connection capability, phone connection, specially prepared meals based on resident specific requirements, an extensive range of lifestyle and interest activities and personal services including a selection of grooming services.

Your physical health and well-being are well looked after, with registered nurses on duty 24-hours-a-day to co-ordinate and supervise your care. Toowoomba is 127km west of Brisbane and is known as the garden city, boasting over 150 public parks and gardens and is home to the Cobb Co Museum.
History
In 1827, explorer Allan Cunningham discovered acres of rich farming land. Despite this, William Horton is regarded as the true founder of Toowoomba, building many facilities in the 1840’s. In 1904 Toowoomba was declared a city.

Toowoomba is serviced by St Vincent’s Private Hospital, which is just 10 minutes away via car (5.7km).
